Question:
Well, after nursing this blood clot, wrecking my wife's car and going stir crazy for two months I finally get the opportunity to get back on the road. I leave in the morning for Gas City, IN and start orientation with United Cartage. From what I can find and what I have heard this should be a good company to work for. They run mostly South and South East, just what I am looking for. Millis let me go since I could not return to work in a reasonable time frame with the clot. I am grateful for the experience that they gave me and hold no hard feelings, business is business. For any Millis Drivers on this board, "I'm gonna miss you guys!!" So, wish me luck and don't forget to shout for the raven if you see me out there!!

Hey, Bob when did they let you go. I work for Millis dedicated, trained with Dave Adams. I like the job home most nights, and run only 6 states. What does your new company run reefers or dry? I have not seen Dave since I have been solo,they like to keep him north. I really did not like running up north thats the only problem with Millis their frieght is mostly up there for OTR. I have a new son also so OTR is not for me. Well best of everything in your new adventure.

Millis offically seperated me on the 7th of Feb.
I liked 3 weeks being there a year and having FMLA. Since I didn't need their insurance I guess it was a business move on their part. So you trained with my former trainer? I talk to Dave about 3 or 4 times a day, everyday. If you have been with him within the last year, you know who I am United Cartage is all Dry Van and are based in Gas City, IN. They are a much smaller company than Millis. This may or maynot be a good thing, time will tell. I am excited about getting back out there and seeing some more of this beautiful country.
