Grayhound school
Question:
IAM THINKING ABOUT BEING A GRAYHOUND BUS DRIVER..DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THEIR SCHOOL..THEY WANT ME TO START MARCH 21... Answer: I don't know about their policy now cause its been a few yrs since I talked to them. They wanted to hire me but I coudnt afford to not be paid for the month an a half at their school and the 'uniform' they were going to charge me for. They also didn't pay for any food.I do know that things havnt changed as far as their 70-80 mph speed limit. And as I was watching the local news last night about the bad weather on Mt Hood (Thats in Oregon)they had a shot of the highway and although the roads were in 'White out)conditions low and behold a greyhound bus was doin Id guess about 50mph in the background heading up the mountain. I also took a greyhound but to CR England a few yrs back (I flew home the next day!!) It was the most terrifying ride of my life.I ended up getting off the bus in the middle of nowhere during a smoke break for the driver, and hopped on another one going to the same place in Salt Lake,it was then that I realized that most of the drivers they have dont really give a damn about the passingers they carry, soooo I never did go with them.. I just cant justify driving for them due to just their haulin *** everywhere they go.To each his own,,,just my 2 cents worth...Good luck...Mike "I love You All!! Let Me See Your Hands" OZZY OSBORN Answer: before you rely on info from someone you dont know i would check into the school in other ways. maybe mjhisme is telling the truth but i find it really hard to believe that they would just get off a bus and just jump on another sounds kinda fishy to me check out other sources Answer: You might try their web site.I agree riding the bus is a experience that everyone should have at least.Don't have to worry about clearing security, just worry about everyone else on the bus.Always sleep with one eye open.I too rode the bus to SLC a few years ago.Not for England, but for Simon.Saw alot of country and alot of weirdos on the bus.Just my two cents worth. Answer: I talked to a driver once who told me they are paying for training now, but not too much. I ride the bus a lot, and in my opinion, they treat the customers like criminals, they have very uncomfortable waiting areas, and some drivers are really mean. Due to the hoopla over multi-names and such I have decided to reveal my real name here, to prove I am real." John Wayne Drysdale Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
