Question:
There have been quite a few posts on the forums, especially in the Newbies Forums, concerning Rapid Loss of Air in a tire, AKA a tire blowout.
Many moons ago a tire company produced a safety video which depicted a steer or drive tire blowout. The video includes audio and video detail of a steer tire blowout, what the results are for the driver trying to control the truck. It goes on to explain and show what not to do and what to do and why. A tire blowout is can be discussed at great length, you have to experience one to know what all the talk is about. The video is an invaluable tool newbies and veterans alike could use to better understand this situation.
The question, if such a video were available free online, would you take advantage of it's availability?

I read this post on the R/T last November from CaboverPete:

After reading this, I started to think, maybe this "Blow Out Video" could help other drivers.
The "Blow Out Video" is call "The Critical Factor" from Michelin Tire Co. . . . I think it is a Great Video!!!
To see the "Video", click on www.olblueusa.org/video/streaming/ . Then click on "The Critical Factor" to view this "Public Safety Message" for all drivers.
BTW, this works for car drivers too.

Five thumbs up and my flat nose too.
I wish I would have seen it before my first solo trip. I had a few blown tires on that trip and it wasn't because I didn't do my p/t.
