USxpress-auto tranny's only?
Question:
I read the entire post that pablo did on USxpress. Never seen an auto shift tranny. I did read that Eaton Fuller is proud of their product. They have a big price tag. USxpress must have some deep pockets. They have a large fleet of company owned trucks. How would you drive in mountians or real heavy city traffic with an auto tranny? Just a thought-be cool 4speed Answer: In heavy city traffic the truck will automatically up and dopwn shift as needed and you only depress the clutch when you are coming to a complete stop. In the mountains, going downhill, there is a "Hold" function/position on the selector that will hold the truck in the current gear and will not shift until you either place it back into drive or use the manual shift button to either up or down shift. Going uphill just let the truck do its thing. Only two things I know of are infinite. The universe and human stupidity, and I am not real sure about the universe.
