Found a couple of 12 volt toasters online, but am not sure if they will hold a half bagel. Need almost 1 inch to fit the durn thing in the slot.
One online appliance the Travel mate, Travel toast is fairly expensive and the other one is more common and 3.75 inches wide, but not sure how wide the slot is?
Do the Toaster Ovens capable of toasting bagels or bread toast?

Your truck already comes equiped with a toaster is a big one that lives under the hood put you bagels on the exhaust manifold and it will toast it nice and brown
A little bit of oil won't hurt it will make it go down easier and give it some flavor
In all seriousness I wouldn't consider a 12volt toaster you need to get a good 12volt inverter and run a small AC powered unit. A 12 volt unit isn't that good for the money spent on a expensive 12 volt toaster you can get a good inverter.

Since I am a Company Driver and can't put an inverter in my truck large enough to handle 800 watts I will have to try to do with the 12 volt
version. Anyone out there ever try a 12 volt

a 12v toaster/broiler that sells for around $30 at most truck stops. It has a little slide out tray and the opening is big enough to fit half a bagel on. I honestly dont know how well it works though.
