Someone had a thread about T.G.Lee dairy drivers hear in Orlando going Union. My sister-in-law is upper management there and I asked her about this and she told that T.G.Lee had to Ok this first and they dont plan to let them go Union would this be a true statement. There are drivers that have been there 10-15 years who get 3weeks vacation right now and would have to start all over again working a year to get one week now. And was further told it would be 90 days before they recieve insurance benifts is all of this acurate.How does the change over really work in this situation.

It's not a true statement.

All of these items will be resolved during contract negotiations and are typical management
tactics used to scare employees.

The employees have to vote the union in, not management. Now, why would they vote it in if this were true? Think about it, and you will see that it's BS. Never heard of a contract that doesn't respect seniority rights; just the opposite is the case.

T.G.Lee has always been the highly sought after trucking job with 0 turnover rate somebody has to retire or die in order to get on there,great pay and bennies, equipment so on and management had to go and get greedy.I think T.G Lee does not plan on honoring any union contract and I am not really up on how all this all works, but for those of you who do lets see if we can keep track of this and see how it pans out.

is T.G. Lee will probably drop their trucks and hire it all out to scabs that will be happy to work for nothing. Happens a lot especially in the south. --> All we can do is hope for the best. _________________
