Answer:
he also had to have More surgery done and I dont think they make strong enough meds to kill the pain this time..
Hi Joe, I know your "Peekin"
You pick your friends that show what you are really made of.

Answer:
Well, it's sure nice to be missed.
As sunrunner put it, I've been busy making sure the Neurosurgeons don't stand in the unemployment line.
This last surgery was the toughest of all, but hopefully they are now done and we can just get on with life. I'd be happy to help with any questions anyone may have about flatbedding, winter driving, or whatever. I'm always happy to help out with anything, so ask away!
Besides....it's good for my rehab to be doing something other than sleeping.....I really didn't figure anyone would really miss me here, so thanks. I needed that..............

Glad you're still around. Hope your recovery is going well. Let me ask ya this........If all you're doing is sleeping, do you get to log that as sleeper berth? Man, think of all the hours you can run now!!!!!!
Best wishes for a smooth recovery
Dave

Answer:
Hope all is going well for you and you have a speedy recovery..You keep the doctors there in bussiness and I will keep them here on the East side of the country in business..
GET WELL SOON -->

Answer:
I can imagine the "HELL" you've been through...! -->
I hope they got everything taken care of and you're on the road to recovery now.
I always looked forward to your "Words of Wisdom"
on flatbedding. When you get to feeling better and feel like it I hope you continue.
I hope the surgery doesn't keep you off the road, but if it does I hope you will stay in the industry...maybe as an instructor... -->
Good luck to ya, Joe. Keep us updated on your progress.....!

Answer:
Good to see you again SRJ. I do hope this was the last surgery for you as well. How much longer have you been told you will be going through recovery/rehab? Hope all is going well for you now. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Answer:
Hope you're back to "normal" soon.
And thanks for the flatbed securement lessons. I found them to be really good. If it'll help your rehab, you have a ready audience. I've seen several posts asking about "The next lesson", that was before we know about your surgery.
Thanks again and get well!!!!

Answer:
See Joe? I told ya so!

Answer:
To answer a few questions....
Yes, I am officially off the road forever.
I will be trying to change the perception of the lowly broker however.
The only logboooking I'll be doing is for auditing purposes. I will never be able to log another mile myself.
I will be in a neck brace for 8 weeks minimum. Then the rehab can start. If I don't get stupid again, this will be the final surgery.
And yes, I'll need a few days to get those memories back of flatbeddin.....

Glad to see you back at Trucknet. I've always appreciated your sound and thorough advice on flatbedding issues. Hope you mend quickly. Even though you may have logged your last mile, new doors will open.
