SUPER SERVICE TRANSPORTATION
Question:
anyone with info on this company good or bad

Answer:
I typed "Super Service Transportation" on the Google search engine and got nothing about a trucking company. I'm guessing this company is so new, it doesn't even have a website. If you're running OTR, ask about delay pay when the shipper/receiver takes too long to load/unload you. Some regional areas of the country (like Florida) have plenty of inbound freight, but hardly nothing coming out. Drivers find themselves sitting for 2 or 3 days on standby, only to have dispatch deadhead them out days later. Ask about layover pay when they get you in an area with little or no prospect for freight. Small companies will tell the customer anything to get the business, like "our drivers don't mind loading/unloading." Ask how much they pay for you to handle the freight. A polite term they use to describe "driver load/unload" is "driver expedite" or "driver assist," but it means the same thing, driver manually handling the freight. Having to manually handle the freight will cut into your energy and stamina to drive the truck. Driver fatigue will settle in much sooner, which means less miles you can safely drive, and be fully alert. I'd be skeptical of companies who can't give you "no-touch freight" guarantee.

Answer:
Obviously don't know anymore about searching than you do about driving.
bennydent, Super Service has been around for a while.
They're mid-range in pay and equipment seems to be about average.
Never talked to any of their drivers so can't give you much more than that.

Answer:
Super Service has been around quite a while, and somehow it comes to mind that they are tied in somehow with Gainey out of Grand Rapids Mi. I could be wrong on that, but I have seen a related company listed on their trucks before. They seem to be doing a lot of auto parts hauling from what I can tell, so I can't say how the current conditions are affecting their business. I have heard that the pay runs low to mid for the work they do, but the reputation seems to be okay otherwise.
They are easy to find on the web, I typed in "super service trucking" and the very first hit I got was their website. www.supser.comAs long as the paperwork's clean, you boys can do whatever you want to out on the road" Mad Max ...1979
