regional jobs around the michigan area.
Question:
I have not yet started cdl school but I am looking fro info on some companies before i start. I have looked at tansport america, TMC, Maverick, Knight, but I have yet to find one that really stands out. TMC and transport america so far are the best but I would like some info or some names of more companies out of this region. Please let me know. And also give me a heads up of who to NOT drive for besides Swift (yes i read the forums too) I know i have asked this before but I do not want to end up in the wrong place the first time. of course i know I wont know until i try but i take your opinions into consideration everytime. Answer: Teamdotson regardless of what You're being told. You do need training, (edited) And as a trainee you have to learn the golden rule of truckin. NOT WHAT A TRUCKING COMPANY CAN DO FOR YOU. BUT WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR A TRUCKING COMPANY. GOOD LUCK Answer: I know I need training. I am not trying to skip that I am just looking for info on the best orientation and traingin after I get my cdl liscense. I do have a family and am looking at getting home every weekend. I am sacrificing i know. but I want to get into trucking and just gathering info from comapnies so I dint have to make a rash decisin within 3 weeks of training. I want to know as much as possible before starting training. Of course that doesnt mean I will get into any particular school. I just want info is all. The more i look up the better my chances of finding the right job. Answer: Getting home every weekend as a newbie? Good luck on that one. First off with having a family look into another line of work, this isn't your grand pappy's driving days. Knight does not provide training they require OTR experience. But to answer your question you get choose from all the obvious choices. What type of freight do you want to run? Stevens (refer), USA Truck (dry van), PGT (flatbed), Watkins Shepard (Van & Flat), US Xpress (Van), Schneider National Inc (Van, Flat, Tanker), Covenant (Van), Arrow (Van), WH Transportation (Van, Flatbed), CRST (Van), Roehl (Van, Flatbed), CR England (refer), TMC (flatbed), Swift (Van, Flatbed), Werner (Van, Flatbed), FFE (refer), Southern Refrigerated Transport (refer), SMX (flatbed), Trans Am (van), Transport America (van), Central Refrigerated (refer), De-Boer (Van), Gainey Transportation Services (Van), KLLM (refer), Maverick Transportation LLC (flatbed), Prime Inc (Van, Flatbed, Tnakers). I'm pretty sure all these companies will take new drivers in your area good luck . Answer: TMC would be your best bet concerning hometime. Ignore Mr. Smith concerning anything. Answer: The Only time I'll only agree with RABALEM. SCREW A GREG SMITHDONNY SCHNEIDER TOLD ME THAT. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
