Looks like Millis will be my best choice. After discovering the Navy's T/A will only cover less than 75% of any other private school. ends up costing me over 1000.00 out of pocket for anything else. Millis will be a 500.00 investrment and starts with a higher rate than anyone else. realy irritating that after 20 years of service that a vo-tech school still costs me over 1000 bucks. for only 8 weeks. At least Millis is a decent company with a good wage and from everything I have heard, it seems like the best placwe to start, and mabe end up. USXPRESS sounded like a good deal, but when I called them they want the entire 2500.00 for school, and instead of a salary while training they only pay .10 per mi. for however many mis the truck moves. any advice? comments? im all ears.
