What a bunch of lowlifes that work in these places. Once in a while I'll drop off a mattress or two on my LTL runs at one these dumps. All of them are in crappy locations just to get your truck into. Then you have to deal with the idiots who park their RAC vans right in the way of the door. After you do find a spot, there is a snot nosed kid who was made into a $8/hr manager that will try to have you put his crap inside a cluttered up room for him without help. Since they wont pay for inside delivery... I dump it up against the walls outside! For you new guys, these will be some of the places you might be delivering to. Just because it isn't a warehouse doesn't mean that the workers wont be lowlifes. Most customers will treat you like dirt.. especially most RAC's. You sure this is a profession you want to get into?
PS: On a side note.. it was funny watching someone rent a mattress that looked as if 20 babies had already been conceived upon it!

Yeah, I did a bunch of RAC deliveries already. I had one that took seven sofas. Good for the old back.
Although, I will say that the personnel at the ones I delivered to were not all that bad to deal with.
