anyone know or worked for TMC
Question:
I LIVE IN NORTHERN MISSIOURI AND THEY'RE NOT FAR.JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE KNEW/WORKED FOR THEM.AND WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF THEM? Answer: Check out www.flatbedfred.com this is a good sight for a newbie to look at. It is one sided but he likes it a lot and so seems good. Answer: The search feature is your friend here. Tons of information on TMC is available. Flatbedfred and his site are an adventure in the recruiting realm, the Web equal to a Carrier Recruitment brochure. The "Fantasy Island" Sparta Clan ran Fred and dreams off the island. Answer: Do yourself a favor and look at a van job especially if you are new. Flatbeds are only good for a lot of free work for a company driver. Totally different for an O/O. And not Owner Operator as in a lease from the company you are driving for.***Patience is the hardest thing to learn.. Answer: FlatbedFred was one strange person. Being a newbie with no experience as a solo he tried to recruit newbies "for the money". It was also funny he knew so much about trucking and TMC without any experience. His site does keep the fantasy alive. If you live in the right area I would give Maverick a call first before TMC. They have a better reputation in my opinion. Answer: He's right...lumping groceries, for 10 hours, pays a lot better then an hour of tarping.... The waiting time pays the same..... LIARS SUKK Answer: I worked for TMC for about 2.5 yrs. I left them due to an injury. I had been beating my body up for sometime so I need to take it easy for a while. If I had not gotten hurt I still would be working for them. They have the best equipment on the road. PERIOD. Even better than some or most O/O. Their pay is good and they have good benefits. If you want to work for a living and work alot..............meaning strapping, chaining, tarping, fooling with loads they are were you need to be. If you are new, they have a good training program. They will teach you the skills needs to perform your job correctly. Give them a call......... Answer: Hmmm...you forgot the Wax on ,Wax off routine. Answer: Answer: TMC=Trucking Marine Corp.SPEECH IS WORDS THAT THEY WILL BEND FREEDOM WITH THIER EXCEPTION" Metallica "Eye of the Beholder" Answer: thanks for all the input.good and bad.and you guys are wright, flatbedfred is weird ! Answer: Flatbedfred's site does offer insight of what TMC offers as training which appears first class. There are worse Carriers to start with. Answer: And better Answer: Ten Fo. Percentage pay for Newbies is not the best path for them to take. Answer: Whatever other faults TMC may have, I don't think there is another flatbed outfit out there that does a better job of teaching load securement. I'm sure some of their drivers have done "slop" jobs, but can't think of one I've ever seen. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
