can anyone tell me if swift would start me out with a trainer since i have a cdl but haven't got a diploma. or force me to atend there school. or any other companey that would start me right away with a trainer .

If you have a CDL, but no prior experience OTR, then trucking companies will start you with a trainer.
You said you have no diploma. Did you attend a CDL school? I don't know if Swift will demand proof of it, but every company I worked for wanted a copy of my CDL school diploma.

Zooterr, If you don't have any logged miles in the last few years, or have not been to a school, Its going to be hard to get on with any of the big ones. I've had my commercial license since before they were called a CDL, No tickets in the last 15 years and still had to go through a refresher course before anyone would consider me.
I didn't check with any of the small local guys. Some small company might take you on without having you go through some sort of training.
