Coastal Transport
Question:
Does anyone have any info on what type of company Coastal Transport is? I will be attending a cdl driver training course at a local college in a couple of months and I am trying to get info on some flatbed companies. Thanks. Answer: I haven't heard much about coastal transport. You said you were looking for flatbed companies that hire students. Here's a few. Maverick gets you home most weekends. Potential of $45000 -$50000 first year. Maverick TMC Same as maverick. Home most weekends.TMC Boyd Brothers Click Here Roehl has a faltbed and van division. Click Here Mcelroy Truck lines Click Here I believe all these companies hire from ohio. You may also want to go Here And read more about these companies. Just click on "message Board" when you get there. There's a wealth of info. Good Luck. Answer: Thanks Solo, I appreciate the reply. I talked to TMC and Maverick yesterday on the phone. The recruiter at TMC was really rude, like he didn't even want to talk me. The recruiter at Maverick was super nice and explained everything from start to finish about the company to me. Maverick sounds like a real good deal. I will check out Roehl, Boyd and McElroy next. Answer: Coastal is a flatbed division of company out of Florida. I think they're one division of seven, with headquarters in central Florida (Auburndale?) I think. Other divisions are tank and dry van/reefer, maybe even pneumatic. Their power units are Macks, the last I knew. You can get gouge on 'em at safersys.org. Update: Try this URL www.comcar.com BOL Answer: Coastal is a part of Commercial Carriers and Sealord is right their in Auburndale, Fl. A fellow I use to hang out with tried hard to get me to work there. He loved them and his home time was pretty good. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
