Question:
Anyone have any much needed info on USA T ruck company out of Van Buren,AK.Been accepted as a company driver for them, start at $.32c mile.Any info will be greatful.Thanks. Answer: why do you wanna go there??? they run east of the rockies, they have some ok but not great equipment and there drivers scare me, ALOT!!! Umm, only met one driver from usa truck who was restacking beer that shifted in transit.... WOL Answer: All large OTR companies run east of the Rockies. It's the ones who mainly run east of the Mississippi you have to worry about if you don't like the east coast. Most companies have good and bad equipment and most drivers have loads that shift. What concerns me about USA is the many post here about the companies dishonesty, low mileage and low pay. Their reputation isn't very good. But then most companies have a poor reputation. Here's a resent post on their training. Might be a better deal cost wise.? http://roundtable.truck.net/viiewt.php?p=595615...=usa+truck#595615 What it comes down to is the money you make and the people you work with. The rest is close to the same with all companies. The only difference is the color of the truck and the name on the dooor. Answer: I went through C1 Professional Training Center FT. Wayne IN. they also have one in Indy. IN.Ithought the training was decent in fact just finished 6/30/06the cost scarred me at first $5,000 but if you fullfill the 1yr contract the cost drops to$995.00 unless you borrow any extra $$$their trainer will be picking me up next week. but like you I hope I get the miles their saying.. Answer: I really hope you can make it a year with them. That's alot ofmoney. BOL Here's an interesting thread about USA Truck, makes you wonder. http://roundtable.truck.net/viiewt.php?t=30640&highlight=usa Answer: Same here. I have come to the opinion lately that USA drivers have surpased SWIFT drivers in incompetence. Answer: i feel sorry for those usa drivers..having to drive those slow trucks (61mph) and there stripped down to be as cheap as possible. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
