Question:
I am curious to know what people do during their free time or "down time" when you are required to take hours off but are still on the road. Other than logbooks or paperwork how do you fill the time. Other than truck stops and rest stops where do you park? Mall Parking lots? Side streets?

I sleep, eat, wash clothes, sleep, read, sleep. BOL

If it is for longer than my break I try to stay at a truck stop. I spend that time cleaming up the truck, catching up on sleep, having a relaxing meal or two, watch some movies and read.
If I am just taking a break I stop at terminals, truck stops, company drop yards, rest areas, and occasionally on a customers lot (with permission).
