Answer: It depends on how many points are still on there,i counted 10 and i don't know how many have dropped off but if you even have 1 point you're not looking too good at getting a GOOD job,not saying that you can't drive but it might be for a crappy company until some points are gone and some expierience is gained, stop driving like a fool if you want to make that your livelyhood, think ahead just a bit. Answer: I would say learn to wear your seat belt and wait untill you drop some of those points off. There are schools that will take you it' the job that will be the hard part. Answer: If you're not bright enough to start wearing a seat belt after your FIRST seat belt ticket, then you've got what it takes to be a truck driver. Answer: Your driving record is crap. Wait until you have at least three straight years with no tickets of any kind, before you consider getting CDL training. Will a school take you? Yes they will. Will one of the entry level trucking companies hire you? No, their insurance company will make that determination. In the meantime, can you say, "Do you want fries with that order?" BOL Answer: learn how to stop at stop signes as well. Very important. Right next to waring your seat belt.202 N Main Street Summerfield Il 62289 TRUCK PARKING AVAILABLE! Answer: Well, first of all, to respond to another concern that was posted in response to your original question i was able to get driving gigs, one of which was with Overnite soon after getting my licence and i had three movings at the time. 2) the seat belts, improper equipment, no ins cards are not movings so those are too much of a concern (although it still makes your MVR look messy) What is "taking a stop sign?" did you do what i think you did? (admittedly i have thought about doing the same and other variations) The only moving violation you have in the past 3 yrs is stop sign on 3/04 so the situation is not that bad. And most trucking companies (and more importantly trucking insurance companies) are mostly concerned with your past 3 years driving history. What i'm wondering is why you get pulled over so often? The best thing to do is get your 3 yr driving record so we can really see what it "looks" like. Answer: 6 points 2 stop sign violations in 3 years 2/03 3/04 I wouldn't hire you, but I would take your money if I ran a driving school.back in the game '96 Mack & flatbed OOIDA Member 522366 http://home.earthlink.net/~davidbreed/ Answer: I would say those seat belt violations mean he talked his way out of or plea bargained down some more serious offenses. Driving is not for eveyone. Some people make terrific butchers and also make more money. Answer: Sounds to me that he is not responsible enough to drive a car let alone a big truck. But I meet them everyday at the truckstops. So he won't be the first and won't be the last. Some truck school would run him the mill and take his savings or stick him in the Swift contract. John Answer: Our INSURANCE company would not let us hire you and if they did I would not for the reasons already posted. Clean up your DRIVING HABITS Answer: If I were you I would learn to say " Do you want fries with that?" Driving is not for you.At least not at this time. Answer: Don't let them discourage you, you shouldn't have any problem getting a driving job. And instead of saying "Do you want fries with that?", you can say "A large pepperoni, a large sausage and anchovy, and a 2-liter bottle of Coke. That'll be $21.85. Sorry for the delay, the traffic was bad." "Climb back in the cab, cross your fingers for luck. We gotta keep movin' if we're going to make a buck. You'll fit in just fine among truckdrivers Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
