Falcon Transport
Question:
Who can tell me about Falcon. I've been offered a dedicated account to start out. The offer is good compared to the research I've been able to find so far. Answer: Most of their dedicated accounts are automotive mainly running the midwest and Texas. Basically you haul loaded racks and bring back empty ones I think.Disclaimer:Pick too ugly to post at this time,LOL. Answer: I live 20 miles from Lansing Mi. and they have a drop lot in Lansing. The dedicated route offered is from Holt , Mi. ( 2 miles from Lansing), to Shreveport Louisiana. I would be flatbedding rolled steel. I would be home every weekend and I may be home once or twice a week. 3 to 6 weeks training for 350 a week plus 100 untaxed allowance. Any advise or experience with them would be appreciated. Thanks guys and gals and Merry Christmas. Answer: They are pretty shady. I have not a heard a good thing about them at all Answer: We had them in to talk to some students about their company, I had several students interested in them, but the company would never return their phone calls. That is a mystery to me, since they were in need of new drivers. Catch you on the flip! Answer: In the last 4 months, I've only seen 3 Falcon trucks on the road. 2 of them were on the shoulder with the hoods up. What's that tell ya. Answer: I see a lot of them running the east/west corridor on 80 through Ohio and Indiana. Don't know what's in the trailers, but they seem to be running steady. HAven't seen any of them with problems, though they did have a big wreck last year at the 61 mile mark in Indiana, one of their trucks pulling tollway doubles. Driver was injured, but I heard he pulled through. Answer: Maybe that tells me the pre trip inspections were not perfomed as well as they should have been. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
