I Was wondering
Question:
I have seen alot of straight trucks or box trucks with sleepers on them? Does anyone know who or what companies might use these types of trucks. I have'nt been able to catch any company names yet,as they are usually wizzing by me in the other direction. If any of you out there have any ideas as to who might use these please let me know. As always THANK YOU in advance.

Answer:
Thanks Mike, I was kinda hoping some company might have these types of trucks were a newbie might be able to drive one, but i see it's lease or o/o. OH WELL. Mike. are they class-B or A. Now I'm just curious. THANKS MIKE. Jimmijam

Answer:
Some of the companies run both A and B class trucks. Lots of different types of trailers used also. The small box trucks you asked about are class B because they are not a combination.
The box trucks also have classifications according to the equiptment. Some are tandems, single axle, reefer and some have lift gates etc. All haul differebt weights and classes of freights.
I thought about PantherII at one time but the home time and delivery schedules were not good. They seem to never go home and always in a hurry.

Answer:
These expediter companies are looking for teams as there freight is usually very time sensitive and need it moved more rapidly than a solo driver can do it.
Some "companies" will hire newbies as they have small fleet owners looking for jobs. All you can do is start calling them and ask some questions.
I have a name not a number. I am not cheap but I am resonable.

I've seen some Vanline companies do this as well.

Answer:
Nobody has mentioned Panther II.

Answer:
Yea i agree that if you are not a team o/o you are wasting your time with expediting. The companies are also overloaded with straight trucks and van(you do alot of sitting) and short on tractor trailors so t/t would be the way to go.
Been there and done that.
Now if you just want a hobby and never go home and constantly asked to run over your log book and sit for eternity and rush rush rush when you do get a load and dead head(for nothing) all over the place-- solo then this is the job for you
