Arrow Trucking
Question:
Alright. I have had my CDL since I was 18. I have been running local since then. I turn 21 on 8-17-05. I am going to go over the road but I DON'T want to go with Swift, Werner, or England...UNLESS I have too. I applied at Arrow Trucking for the Flatbed division, I was wondering if anyone works for them and how is it? Do they give you good miles? Anybody have any dirt on this company? I know they kinda fly lower on the radar of CB scruitiny. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Answer: 13 Views and nothing negative! So far so good..! Answer: It might actually be a good thing. I never hear anything about Arrow. Actually I thought they were out of business. Are they offering you a fair pay and benefit package along with good home time? 28 views now. Answer: lol, Well they offered to pay me for my two year under 21 local experience...So .34 cents a mile to start...A hell alot more than Swift, Werner and england... Answer: Well so far I've found one bad report on Arrow. But it's hard to tell exactly what went wrong. Since I can usually find 100 on a bad company it's not looking to bad yet. Just remember I am one of TN's naysayers who is to be blocked because if it's bad I'll find it. Arrow Answer: 67 Views and only 1 Bad thing so far! Woo Hoo! This is a hell of a company so far! lol. Thanks for the post "Stuffs" aprreciate it! Answer: Ok Ill say Arrow sucks and their drivers smell Truth is I dont know a thing about them good bad indifferent Answer: Thanks for that valuable information TRNDytruck. I know I aint working there now. Typical of TRNDytruck to post negative information. I'm blocking him. Answer: Well I think Arrow seems like a decent company to go with. Granted its a flatbed job, and I will most likly have to tarp 90% of my loads...I will make decent money and have alittle fun while doing it! Answer: Best of luck to ya Tee Answer: More Arrow news. Found this while doing some reading. I didn't expect this article to be front page since i read it last month. found my name down a little. All Together Now By the way. my post about TRNDytruck was just kidding, no seriousness involved. Answer: Well thats not bad news, Stuffs. I don't have any pets anyways. I am thinking this is a okay company! What about you guys? Answer: I worked for them for three weeks. Long story short it was right out of school and my trainer fresh from over the border could barely speak english and truck was a pig sty. We didn't see eye to eye on anything and me being just out of school had no idea really what to do, and he took exception to that. Threatned to throw me off the truck in California and I live in Florida, anyway he got a weekend off his mommy was being sworn in as a citizen and he parked in front of his house and expected me to stay in the truck all weekend without idleing. I called headquarters to explain they called him he got pissed off threw my stuff out of the truck, I caught a cab to a motel and had to stay a week waiting for the Amtrak train to take me home. Not a very good expierience, on the other hand they do have an excellent orientation lasts five days and they have a miniature road course on property, as well as loads to tarp and chain. Answer: Dang it! You just had to ruin it! haha. Is the orientation that bad? Answer: I haven't driven for Arrow, but did drive for Melton. They are in Tulsa also. They have better equipment than Arrow.Melton will pay you $40.00 to tarp compared to Arrow's $10.00.I would give Melton a look also.
