No CDL
Question:
A friend of mine was wondering if he went down to the DMV and got all of his endorsements if he could sign on with a company and get a CDL through them. He wants to drive for TMC out of Des Moines Iowa. I wasn't sure, but if anyone can shed some light on this that would be great. He is getting out of the Air Force and has experience with 7.5 ton and up tractors and 40 foot flatbeds, lowboys, and double drops. Thanks, Tim Glad to have 600 of Cummins finest horsepower under the hood of my W900 KW. Jakes and 8" stacks sound sooooo good Answer: If he goes to the DMV and takes the exams for the endorsements, that is usually all that is required to get a CDL permit. TMC does take newbies, but they will likely require him to have an actual CDL, not just a permit. Yea you will have to graduate from a 160 hours school before that will hire you and have your cdl. I think. KTL told me I was in an area that would only get home ever other weekend even though i talked to a TMC driver who lives near me and that he got home every weekend. i tell you if I am going to put up with that tarp everything i want home every weekend lol Charles Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
