Look Before Leaping. Know what you are getting into before
Question:

More information here
You are contemplating what next as you sit in orientation. The recruiters are making thier visits touting what their company has to offer. They have a list of what they are looking for in a driver. You too should have your list of what you need in a carrier. This is a pretty comprehensive article which both those entering the industry as well as for those with that one year experience under their belt may find helpful in finding the best fit in your career.

Answer:
Good tip Rose. It's these seemingly "little things" that sometimes turn into unacceptable conditions for you, once your get there.
How much time off do I get?
How often can I take time off?
Can I drive the truck home for my time off?
Is there a any kind of penalty or charge for driving the truck home for my time off?
Can I take time off at a location other than my home, and can I drive the truck there too?
What happens if you can't get me home on time? (you may be arrested for vehicle theft if you take matters into your own hands and just drive home unauthorized)
I'd recommend not only getting (supposedly) straight answers from recruiters on these questions, but verifying those answers with another source at that company -- another recruiter by phone perhaps, or preferrably from their drivers themselves. ("Guaranted home time" usually means "we guarantee we'll try our best to get you home on time", which means absolutely nothing.
