Hello everyone, I drove truck about 1.5 years ago and loved it but I had to come off the road for personal reasons. Well today is the day that I start the next chapter in my life. I am going to work for a small company out of nebraska starting me at .27 a mile off the hub, I didn't figure that was to bad. My first load is down to Kansas so they are starting me off pretty simple. Didn't really have much to say just wanted to tell everyone i'll be out there some where as a professional tourist with the rest of you later this afternoon

reider look for a post on the Round Table each weekend titled some thing like "It's the weekend, where are you headed this week". Check it and you might find some drivers headed the same way. Send them a PM and you might just meet some of them out there.
I think they have a "Gossip girls" and "cell phone club" also.

thank you all for your responses......I am in the middle of my second week back and I am loving it. I went down to Dallas, Tx for the first time last week so that was cool. I just got home early this morning from Chicago. That is always a site to see when you are picking up from downtown, to see the bums and hookers everywhere you look. Kinda said that stuff really happens, you see it on the news all the time but don't ever really see it. I am heading out for Columbia, MO tonight for a 6 am appointment then probably over to KC to pick up a load going to Denver for friday and then i will be calling it a week. again thanks for your responses and i hope to cont . to hear from all of you. Yeah, but he's paid off the hub. Lots of companies starting at .28-.33 cpm that pay HHMG. Figure 10% off actual miles, and (sad to say) hes doing better than what most companies out there are paying their rookie drivers.
