A new member's introduction..........
Question:
Hello all. New to the board and to truck driving. I didn't see a specific place to post an introduction so this seemed as good of a place as any. I'm making the transition from law enforcement officer to truck driver so it should be interesting, especially seeing things from a different point of view than what I'm used to. Anyway, good to be here and I'll see ya'll around.

Answer:

I'll be attending school in Charlotte N.C. and will be driving for Schneider. I just received my CDL permit after taking the written test at DMV. It's not actually a written test but it's a multiple choice test given on the computers at DMV.
Also, thanks for the warm welcome.

Answer:
Welcome to the Zoo from one Fox to another!!!!

Answer:
Welcome Foxhound. Please do yourself a favor and reconsider your choice of comany to work for. I went through there program and will admit training is good, but company sucks. If you can eat there crap for a year go for it, but they can be very mean. Put it this way, you were a cop, imagine dealing with a convict writing your check every week. Do you really think it will all be there?

Answer:
transition from law enforcement to law breaking
Answer:

Answer:
Take the Scneider training. You will at leased be well schooled. Many drivers with 20+ years training could use there training. Eatting crap is what we do well. Some keep doing it, others manage it.
Your law back ground will be helpfull. No one will give you anything. You have to earn it and manage it. You can sit back and watch or you can be all in and involved.202 N Main Street
