Question:
I have a question for anybody that currently or has driven for either Schneider and/or Roehl. I have been accepted by both companies and was looking for some POSITIVE OPINIONS ONLY! Please no negative comments - at least not yet. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Answer:
If you're accepted... as in "pre-hired," I wouldn't rule any company out at this point. Pre-hired means nothing.
But, to answer your question, SNI led me on for over a month with their application and pre-hire business; asking for this form, and then that medical form, always asking for another instrument. Finally, I had to tell them to forget it, I needed to start working.
So, on the positive side, I have to thank Schneider for doing that, because I ended up with US Xpress and it turned out to be the best thing that could've happened.

Answer:
I pull a dry-van for Roehl. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to get a foot in this industry. They are serious about safety so they will never push you to cook the books. The miles are there if you can stay away from the one-armed bandits and the cherry machines. They will get you home to see your mujer when you want, no problem.
As I write this, I'm at the J in St. Augustine, Florida sweating mi culo off. Last week, 35 degrees up in Maine, this week 90 degrees in Florida...oh well, such is the life we lead, right?
Hit me with an e-mail if you want the low-down.
Answer:
I understand that you are only looking for positive responses, and that is fine, as long as you don't want all the information. I don't know anything about Roehl, but SNI I do know. They have a very good training program. And that's where it ends. They will abuse you very badly. Put it this way, if I could have drivin my truck through my Support Team Leaders' head I would have, but here office was on the second floor. I think there are a lot of companies out there to choose fron, and if I were doing it again, I would choose a small compant. At leat they will know your name when you call in to them. Just my two cents.
