Another concrete cowboy wannabe
Question:
Hello, a newbie here. Just thought I would introduce myself to the masses. Getting into trucking in the near future. I have been accepted by Schneider to run a Midwest Dedicated account. In the mean time, I am also considering Roehl and TransAm. You can probably tell by the companies that I ahve picked I am without experience. I have learned alot here over the past few weeks and have come to really appreciate the views of Uturn and Skywalker. I will keep reading and learning. Please excuse my ignorance but what is a sleepover and a reefer? Thanks again for the great board. ILLINIFAN Answer: I think you mean "cab over". That is a truck without a hood. You know; the flat front trucks. And a "reefer" is what you'd be pulling if you went with the one company out of the three mentioned that I would recomend (Trans Am). It is a refrigerated trailer. Welcome to the boards. p.s. "sleepover" is when Jenifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow visit my bedroom every other week end. It's apparent this place is never going to change....then again; why should it? It gets the clientel it deserves. Bette Midler Answer: Although this is an older model, the link below is a pic of a cabover. Sorry I keep digging up old photos, but the link below are pics of Refrigerated trailers.(Reefers) Answer: so you watch friends on tv in your bedroom every other weekend? Answer: A "sleepover" is something that young girls do. A "reefer" is a marijuana cigarette. I hope this answers your questions. Answer: Answer: He may mean sleeper too, the big box behind the seats where a driver can get horizontal and check eyelids for light leaks. BOL Answer: ILLINIFAN, I hope your in good physical condition. More than likely a Schneider Dedicated account for a new driver usually means a lot of trailer unloading, often, floor loads. Schneider usually doesn't give the easy dedicated accounts to newbies. Answer: ....I've heard good things about them. You could probably do a lot worse for someone with no experience. Good luck! Answer: WRONG!!!! That'd be heaven! Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
