Question:
Hi, just signed on here and have read a lot of the threads. I'm a long time member of several other forums, particularly the Marine Open Dicussion Forum on military.com. I just graduated from Truck Driver Institute and go to work for Werner on the 18th. I served active duy in the Corps from '72 to '81, then reserve from '81 to '92, all in Motor Transport. I'm very involved with the Marine Corps League, a veterans group for Marines. I worked construction after leaving active duty, until last June, when I lost my job for about the 5th time. Construction was just too seasonal, so I decided to do what I knew I would sooner or later and never look back at construction. People might not want or be able to afford a new home, but they always gotta eat. Semper Fi, Wayne [This message was edited by MarineVet32935 on August 25, 2003 at 11:18.] Answer: "but they always gotta eat." I have two cows and my neighbor has a bull. I just sold some goats and am thinking about getting more. I also have some chickens and one large chicken snake who likes to prowl around at night and get the chics. I've got an acre of very open land right next door and am thinking about growing some produce. I don't have to eat whats in the stores. Unfortunatly the cows have names and the chickens are my and my dogs friends. I also have a sort of agreement with the snake. If he shows his face the dog eats him. So I still go shopping every week. I almost forgot about the gators. At-least 15 of them ranging from about 12 feet (not measured) down to about 2 feet. I can survive. I just hate killing the critters, darn it. Welcome to TN and I hope all goes well for you. "Caution: Door May Open" Answer: So, you will measure the 2 footers but not the 15 footers? What kind of a man r u?
