Welcome to Live Dialogue !!!

Here in Montana...
Question:
It is very cold for someone who came from Hawaii! It is beautiful, though...
Passed my permit and endorcement tests yesterday and class starts Monday. The folks here at the Missoula terminal and school are very nice! And there is internet access for us here.
I am happy and excited about this adventure and will keep you folks posted on my progress.
Best wishes to all of you!
Linda

Answer:
I think you'll like Montana. Montana is a neat State. I enjoy running through Montana, in fact, I ran through MT on I-90 earlier this week on my way to Spokane, WA.

Answer:
By the way, if your planning on living in MT you might want to consider one of these if they become available. You'll need something to get around in during the snow storms up there...LOL

Answer:
If you are at the Watins/Shepard school, you are going to love the folks including "Dick", he's the huge instructor. Great folks, great company. See ya around maybe, jet black volvo 770 .
Answer:
if you are in the watkins and shepard school could you give up some info on the pricing/terms etc?
I have heard nothing but good things about watkins and they have the runs I want.
cant wait to get back out west!
Answer:
Zip me an e-mail and I will give you all the info you want both good and bad. I was a company driver for watkins & shepard, now an owner/operator for them. Real quick, the company does NOT pimp trucks, if you want the o/o gig, you go out and get your own finacing(sp?) and buy your own.
Answer:
I am not a head-hunter, i get no referral bonuses for inexperienced drivers. "just the facts and some personal observations.
Answer:
End of week one! Yay! Yeah, Dick is a hoot, but he is my favorite, by far. We went out on the road the second day and I am feeling good about my progress. (Shifting, good; road control, good; cornering and turning, great improvement!) I had a little experience when I got here, but I learned more in a day and a half than I did in months on the truck with the soon to be ex. Thank you for the encouragement, guys and will ask a couple of questions to the homeboys from W/S via pm (and answer the query, too).
Another thing, I do believe that this is the best training money can buy, at least of what I researched. I am pleased and blessed to be here.
Be safe,y'all! More soon!
Linda

Answer:
It's been three and a half weeks... take the road test on Thrusday. We are running the course of the test and practicing the backing manuvers. Not too tough, especially compared to other states.
Went on a student trip under a load to Los Angeles. Except for the rain it was way cool. Twenty years of taxi life most in L.A. gives me a leg up on most others.
So far, so good. I'll check back in before I get out on the road...
Best to all of you,
Linda

Answer:
