CFI
Question:
Been off the road for a year. Thinking of trying CFI. Any comments about them? I heard once they run autoshift trannys. I would prefer southeast region. Answer: Good company to work for auto shift is in the t2000's the T 600's are 13's I made a killing working there it was easy to put in 3,000 miles a week had a great dispatcher. Just be sure to kiss safety's a ss and dont idle your truck and get low fuel mileage or you'll be looking for another job , nothing like a non driving idiot telling you how to do your job, thats all the safety dept, is over there, if it wasnt for them i'd still be there and im not to sure about a southeast regional run Answer: xx Answer: Appo... I sent you a PM.So I like what I do, you don't, too bad, get over it. Get on with your life, I am. Answer: Appo... I sent you a PM.So I like what I do, you don't, too bad, get over it. Get on with your life, I am. Answer: thanks for the infor yall. I'll be checking out cfi at the MATS trucking show in march. Answer: I just got fired from CFI, no hard feelings, I had 2 stupid accidents a month apart, and between that and my experience level, the insurance company just couldn't go with it. Very safety oriented company, very driver friendly, you Must Communicate At All Times, other drivers very willing to help out with problems you may be having. Going to practical miles Dec. 1st. Open door policy, problems with trainer or dispatch just let someone know. Start with trying to work out the problem with the individual 1st, and then work your way up the ladder if need be. They do listen as a whole. You have to be honest or you are through. Attitude plays a big part in how much and if they are willing to work with you, or go to bat for you. Nothing is perfect, and the same holds true with this company. Dispatch times and mi. are often incompatible, but do your pre trip planning, know your facts, and contact dispatch, or your team leader, and explain the problem, and they will redo the ETA. The main thing is Communicate Immediately, not on down the road. If I can't find another company as good as them, as soon as I get some more experience under my belt and show a decent amount of time with a clean record, I will certainly try getting back with them again. You will find nay sayers there just as with any company, but I believe the company overall runs a 1st class operation. Hard to go wrong with this company. Wish I was still with them.Work hard play hard and do your best Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
