I've been lurking and reading the archives the past few days... good stuff! Congrats on having the best set of trucking boards (IMO) on the Net!
My question is does anyone know of a Western states equivalent to Roehl? A good, solid, and fair company that runs flatbeds AND hires trainees?

Coburg Or. Just north of Eugene. Watkins/Shepard..Missoula Mt. Vans and flats. Systems Transport. Not sure where in the west they are. Maybe Missoula also.

Sherman Brothers,doesnt hire new drivers anylonger. But you could get the exception!! I understand that they may occasionally take someone new now, but that is not first hand. But why not try?!

is outa Spokane,Wa and has a 7 western states division(unlike most with an 11 western div.) also look into Hatfield enterprises also outa Spokane and theres Davis Transportation outa Missoula, Sammons Trucking outa Missoula also has company gigs I think
Not sure where you live,but if your in the California area there are a couple outfits in/around Stockton,Ca. look into Valley Material and Teresi trucking in Stockton and Lodi California
