Question:
xx

Answer:

Not many, assuming that it's just speeding and doesn't come with a reckless charge attached. Keep plugging away.

Answer:
Where do you live. Cuild be some companies others know about that you cant locate on your own..
I would think with the speeding of 15 over and an accident it will make it a little more serious. 15 over isn't a minor traffic violation. If it is 3 years old how long before it falls off the 3 year mark altogether. If not long it will not matter as much. But there is still plenty of companies that will take you. Jusrt make sure they know the details in advance.

Answer:
Depending on state law/policy, that 15 mph pver speed ticket may stay on the MVR for 7-10 years.
Major speeding ticket coupled with an accident hurts. Your best bet right now is to just start making phone calls and putting in applications, but be prepared for a lot of no's.
Answer:
It will stay on most all state records for 5-7 years. But most trucking companies insurance is only interested in the las 3 years. Some may go to 5 but not many. It is one of those strange things companies do, Their web sites say no more than 2-3 moving violations in the last 3 years and one accident in the last 3 years. Then when you apply they have a diiferent policy. That is why it is smart to call and talk to them first.
By the way have you tried ComCar for Tank training. They hire newbies in different areas.

Answer:
with crete it depends on the speed limit not the 15 over it,if he was doing 90mph in a 75 zone, they won't touch somebody like that
50 in a 35 zone is a different story
they will fire anyone who gets a ticket over 75mph even if they are in their car
most of the drivers they fire get fired for speeding in WY. speed limit 75mph and they get fired driving 65mph trucks for letting them fly coming off the hills
Answer:
well they shut down that other post. why they do that ? um guess some drivers will have to go some other place now.

Answer:
I believe 15 over is a felony in some states. California comes to mind. The Patriot Act changed alot concerning CDL rules and driving offenses.

Answer:

Not exactly.
15 over, upon conviction, is considered a major violation for a CDL holder regarldess is the violation occurred in a CMV or in a private vehicle. However if the violation occured prior to obtaining a CDL a slightly different set of rules apply. However in some states 15 over is considered automatic reckless driving and can result in suspended driving privledges for non CDL holders.
List of "major" offenses for CDL holders and min penalties can be found HERE
Answer:
Thanks for the clarificaton. Oh BTW I used to work for Crete 4 months ago and they called my house asking if I wanted to come back to work for them. I said no thanks. I am home every weekend and making more money now than before. Did tell the assistant terminal mgr that I would come back for .50 cpm. That ended the conversation. I think my days of being gone for 3-4 weeks at a time are over

Answer:
You might want to try CFI. They are decent company. Of course you will be out on deployment for 3-4 weeks at a time.

Answer:
CF I is hiring newbies now.?
last I heard they would only do that if you knew someone who worked there already and would team with them.
Answer:
Sorry, they will hire you with 3 months exp. Will put you with someone for a while. Nevermind CFI if you have no exp.

Answer:
It probably won't be long before more companies start hiring newbies. Driver shortage remember CFI was a good outfit before they started buying used Stevens trucks and offering that lease program. ugh
