Truck Modifications?
Question:
From the XM forum on this site, I assume that it is ok to have that (correct if I'm wrong) but can any of these be added to a truck that I DO NOT own... extra lights inside and out, different or new (upgrade) CB, remove stock speakers and replace with better ones (adding an amplifier), GPS screen?
Thank You very much!

Answer:
It All Depends on the company and if they allow it or not. If they dont and you do, you will be fired without a question. Like FFE Allows Upgrades of that nature, but if its stolen they arent responsible for it. Schneider, Werner and a hand full of other wont allow anything of that nature. Check with the company you plan of going with.

Answer:
Midnightrunner is correct on this. It all comes down to individual company policy, and if you do something to the truck that is not authorized you will be fired without any warning.
One thing you should keep in mind though is that as a company driver you could be instructed to change trucks at any time. While you may be assigned to a single truck for months (or even years) it is also exremely possible that you may be assigned to a different truck several times in the course of a year. With this in mind it would be in your best intrest to never place anything in or on the truck that can not be removed quickly and easily.
Another thing to check into and keep in mind, that depending on what you want to do to the truck you may have to pay to have it done by the company mechanics and that once done you could be required to leave it on the truck when you turn it back in.
Personally I never felt any company paid me enough to spend money on anything to make them look better like chrome, extra lights, polishes, etc. Anything and everything I ever added to a truck was for my convience only as allowed by company policy.
Answer:
Don't ya wanna look cool?

Answer:
That being said----only go to work for a company that has cool looking trucks.
I'm still searching for one that has a fleet of trucks just like the one Hoss has
Just razzin' you a bit Hoss--nothing personal dont ya know
