Question:
Do any of you double clutch 13 or 18 speeds and what gears do you split.

Answer:
My truck has a 13 speed. The only time I use the clutch is taking off or coming to a stop.
As to splitting the gears, it all depends on how heavy I'm loaded.
On a 13 speed, you can only split the gears once you're up in high range.

clutch we don't need no stinking clutch.. i'm like hoss. my wife uses the clutch on every shift.

I drive a 13 speed pulling light loads, when both loaded or empty i only split the top 3 gears. Unless i have to start out going up a big hill from a stop, then split all the gears. Just cause it seems easier on the truck. I only use clutch to start off from a stop.
