Question:
Shut the engine off and let it get 'cold'. Open the hood and have someone else push the start button whiler you're looking at the exhaust system. If white smoke rolls out, you definately have a leak.
I thought I had a exhaust leak because this last trip, I started getting headaches and sleepy before I normally do during the day.
Each day while I was out, I looked but couldn't find any signs of an exhaust leak.
Today, I had my wife start my truck while I had the hood open (the truck was shut off all night).
White exhaust smoke rolled out from places that it normally shouldn't.
No wonder I was getting tired and having headaches.
So, the elbow and flex tube right off the turbo are going to be replaced today, along with anything else that's part of the exhaust system that looks questionable.

We pulled ours off yesterday..aggravation, but necessary. Next problem is KW can't find the right dynaflex Z stacks for a non Aerocab 900????
Exhaust leaks will make you sick and sleepy, more people should check since the exhaust is under the cab AND at night in a truckstop you get to breath everyone else's exhaust. Might also recommend carbon monoxide detector, it's a small investment and well worth it.

3. A 'metalic' taste in my mouth.
4. Tightness in my chest / lungs.
5. Feeling kinda 'sluggish' when I first got out of the truck.
