Willis Shaw Trucking
Question:
I am getting ready to start CDL school in Nov at Mid Fla Tech. 320 hours. Have talked to several companies and like what I heard from Willis Shaw, and have been pre-hired by them. I have been told several times that I can run an inverter in the truck for a Micro-Wave oven, they don't care. This is from the recruiter, and she swears up and down its ok. Is there any drivers from Willis Shaw or drivers who recently drove for them who can verify that its all right and they allow their drivers to use inverter to run micro-wave, on this site. Thanks John Answer: If all your concerned about is a converter and a microwave then I start to get concerned. Maybe you should be more concerned about running legal, rate of detention pay, safety record, dispatched run time, things like that Answer: Where in the he-- did you get off on running illegal, and all your other trash mouth. I have talked to them about everything and the only question I have is DO THEY ALLOW INVERTERS for Micro-waves or dont't they. Thats all I asked, and I have a feeling you are not a driver or a if so a loser who can't handle what's going on. Ya wanna F--K with me, go ahead but I still have the question to be answered. Answer: Oh by the way tried your link and it sucks, nobody is there why does that not surpirse me. Now for serious answers from real drivers I would like to hear from you but not from phoney's and kittens (meow) John Answer: if you want to know anything about the company, maybe you should call WSE,that way you'll get the answers you need. there is really no need to trash talk wombat,he ask you a valid question Answer: Man, for an almost-wannabe you sure are cockey arnt you? And if you believe a recuiter you are very nieve. By the way a prehire means nothing! And IF you want to learn anything tone your act down.Marines stay and fight, Bush makes sure of that. Fox News, just a bowel movment away Blind faith in a bad leader, is not patriotism Answer: I felt then and I feel now that at your level of experience (none) that you should be more concerned about the important things, like I mentioned. I can see that I was wrong about you, you know it all, and no one is going tell you anything unless it's exactly the thing that you want to hear. But you see no one cares about your wants and needs, the only thing that the company cares about is the bottom line. I was telling you to be more concerned about the important stuff like pay, detention, lumper fees, layover, dispatch time vs. available time, road service, breakdown but then you know all about that kinda stuff. The recruiter will tell you whatever it takes, and whatever you want to hear about the company, as long as you get in, sit down, shut up, and drive. Good luck in your career choice I feel that you will do fine as long as people tell you the truth according to johnfla19. Let us know how long you last Answer: This idiot should last a whole Month. What idiots are worried about just an inverter and microwave? There are so many more important questions to ask and this wienie asks the stupid one. It figures though. No wonder they have a seperate newbie section. What a jerk off. what do i know i am just a truck driver Answer: Should we tell him that most (if not all) trucks stops have microwave ovens? And that drivers can used them? I agree, for someone starting out there are more important things that should be addressed. Interestingly enough, he has had his question answered, but he keeps asking it over and over. But I'll be nice... Call Willis Shaw, ask for the service manager and ask him, or her, if you can install an inverter. -JHappy Dwellers Society Company Driver Division Answer: No DriverJ. This idiot needs to go and find out himselff so he can quit and go home crying to his mama. The sooner the better because we need the wienies off the road so it will be safer from us real drivers.what do i know i am just a truck driver Answer: Now I am pissed!!! Ok first off WSE does not need drivers who are overly irate! We are trying to be more of a RESPONSIBLE truck company. Hooligans like you, joining a company like WSE, is in deed going to quit within 3 months. Do not come in here as a NEWBIE and start a childish display. Wombat has driven more miles, more years, more trecherous roadways then you could ever imagine. I too, have driven more miles and driven more roadways then YOU could ever imagine. I am still a certified NEWBIE with WSE (2 yrs and counting). If they prehired you to join the team, then I have to reconsider who I am working for. Wombat is right when he said . If all you are worried about is a flipping microwave, you are not considering the most important aspects of driving. I am very offended by the post you wrote. It takes alot and I mean alot to make me upset and leave it to a wet newbie to do it. Sweet WhiskeySweet Whiskey Answer: With the "attitude" displayed he's going to fit right in the "lifestyle" of the Social Misfit Mobile Homeless Group infesting the highways today. The type that provides the "enlightenment" at the counters of every truckstop. Answer: He'll be the type of driver that runs out and buys all the 'toys' from a truckstop.........and pay 3 times more than what they sell for elsewhere. Y'all should get to know him. Ya might pick up a good deal on a used microwave or inverter in 2-3 months..........maybe sooner. Answer: Driver 1: Breaker, breaker 19...Anybody need an inverter and microwave ? Got one cheap. Driver 2: Does it work? How much ? Driver 1: Yep, it works..still in the box and I got a receipt for it, its only 3days old. I only want 50 bucks for both (new price=$200). Driver 3: Why you selling it????? Driver 4: My pays all screwed up at Willie Shaw and I haven't been paid (took too many draws buying trucker toys) in 3 weeks. I 'm quitting and need money for a bus ticket home ! '' Answer: Let's assume that he DID actually ask about the other stuff and just wanted to double check on the microwave. I've never agreed with Wombat about anything (I've never posted with him about driving stuff.) but I agree that attacking his site was highly rude. Here's the deal for the vets: Remember PK posting about crazy fights in the past week and many of you posted tales of 'veteran' drivers acting like promos for COPS? This guy'll probably last a while--and run angry every minute of it. I've known people whose tempers always flare up and they've come to think of it as 'part of the job' and don't quit when angry. They just make YOU want to move along. Stay calm because the other person may need you to think for them as well!! Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
