This should be fun!!! Our Class is going to the Michigan Center for Decision Driving tomorrow. Has anyone been to this coarse? I will post more on here tomorrow when I get back to let you know how it was.

I went there around 4 years ago. Instruction was very good and the skid pad was a gas. You'll be asked to do several things. Panic stops on wet and dry pavement, how to correct when you start to jacknife and many other things. They bus you to the cafeteria for lunch. The food's good but you have to pay for it. After completion, you'll receive a certificate and a baseball cap. I really enjoyed it. It was fun and you learn a lot. Oh yes, wear a heavy coat or jacket. Man, it's cold and windy on that skid pad. Have fun.

Well I completed the coarse, and it was awesome. You do learn alot of different manuvers. My favorite was the jack knife. They have you come into the pad at 22 mph and have you pul down your hand brake then they tell you to release it and you have to control the skid I did it right the first time I was very suprised in myself. The other manuver I enjoyed was the wet stop at 30 mph. You come into the pad at 30mph and they put on a stop lot andd you have to do a controlled stop I stoped in 450 ft and 430 ft whice they said was great. Hope some of you get to go to this coarse it is well worth the trip and a day well spent .
