If you are not one or a few of these people -- go back to doing whatever it is was before school A: Self motivated, responsible, INDEPENDENT, have pride in what and you are. 4. You are a truck driver THE most vital part of the US economy 5. You are about to enter the most adventurous part of you life! Treat it as so. keep an open mind not everyone shares your values 6. Learn the truckers code of ethics Here are a few: Be courteous to other drivers, we are all here togeather, lets play like a team. NO FOG/DRIVING Lights No high beams as a " You missed me " gesture Keep your CB on ( atleast turn the squelch up to hear the truck next to you) id turn if off in truck stops, you do what you like. IN Truckstops SLOW DOWN, this aint the big road yo! If you are driving around the truck stop slow enough, you don't need headlights. Help a truck on the side of the road if possible. In other words treat other drivers like you'd want to be treated More safety : Leave yourself an out! NO TAILGATING! Drive down hills at YOUR comfort level when in doubt look harder! you'll figure the rest out as you go OH! If you must pee in a bottle PUT IT IN THE TRASH!!!! and take a shower at min. every other day!! See ya and good luck!I make them thar Peter drivers green with envy Answer: Thanks Answer: All well and good in a perfect world. Most of it is common sense. Driver ethics?? Maybe back in the dark ages but not now. I look at most 4 - wheelers as morons, and when they do the right thing, like merging into traffic AT SPEED then I' m pleasantly surprised. "Stop holding me back. I'm going to clown college." Homer Simpson Answer: Four wheelers? After a lifetime out here I tend to view most truckdrivers as morons. If one does occassionally do something in a half way professional manner it shocks me so bad I nearly wreck myself. BTW this post is not meant as a joke. Half the morons out here with a CDL have no business driving anything bigger than a kiddie car! Answer: I thought the farmer was and the people at the utility companies and the banker and the oil refinery workers and, and, and the rest of the people who make the world go round. Bow down to your mechanic,he is God. Answer: Absolutely right! Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
