Question:
The ? is i have 2 speeding tickets in feb, and april of 02. i also have a preventable accident from 3 weeks ago 780$ damage. 2 otr companies are still intrested in me. Would it be better to work around here non driving and let speeding tickets pass 3 years old? What im worried about is going thru training with a company and risk getting fired for a 780$ incident again but this time being in the middle of nowhere. Answer: The speeding tickets are small potatoes (assuming they're not 15+ over); it's the preventable that'll screw you up. The situation remains the same whenever you work for any "at will employment" company; they can fire you any time, anywhere for any reason. Answer: I have to agree with John C. Answer: Gotta love how these "jack-off" companies will drag people out to the middle of nowhere knowing that they have an accident or tickets, and then tell them 3 days later "sorry, we cant hire you!." Even nicer when they drop you at the bus station with no ticket...Don't head 2000 miles away unless you have a set of keys waiting when u get there.
