I run for Werner, I'm very satisfied with the company, been with them 2year.
About the paperless logs, you will either love them or hate them, but it definitly makes logging alot easier than paper. Very difficult to run illegel with them, in fact its practically impossible. Most of the time I like the paperless logs.
The logs are done via the qcomm, and from what i understand Werner was the test bed for the logs, now that the testing is completed I think qcomm owns the software for them.
The logs not only help the driver they help dispatch. Dispatch can see in real time the drivers availablity, it helps in dispatching loads that you can only deliver, legally.
I can run about 3200-3800 miles in about 7 days all legal, I will need a 34 hour reset after about 3700 point. (i'll get the reset finished quicker than I can recapping).

A. I see a lot of them sitting in truckstops twiddling their thumbs.
B. If they are on the road, they seem terrified of having to lift their foot of the floor.
C. Don't park within half a mile of one if you want to keep your hood intact.
Other than that, they are probably no worse than any of the other training companies.

I Left Werner This Past Year, If U Are Training ,Go With Them Get Some Exp With Them, Good Training Comp. Then Get A Year And Find A Good OTR Comp If Thats What U Want. I Chose To Leave Them Bcause I Wanted More Hometime, Got Tired Of The North East, A Number of Reasons. Some People Like The Comp and Stay, I For One Did Not And Im Glad I Left.
