Met R.J. & 'Ol Blue...
Question:
A few weeks ago I stopped at the Petro in W. Memphis for my 10 hour break. After getting hooked up with Idle Aire I looked down a few stalls and there he was!
Wasn't going to go down there but thought what the heck! Introduced myself to him as a fellow trucknetter, and the conversation started!
We talked about alot of different things involving the trucking industry, got a tour of his rig, even showed me his "hot-tub!"
Here is a man who is truely trying to help the trucking industry, not just talk about all that is wrong! Any and or all support he needs should be given by the industry as a whole!
To you newbies reading this check out his site, he has alot of valuable information that one can use!
R.J. (I can call him that as he corrected me when I said "sir") I thank you for the conversation and company! Keep up the good work!!
Drive on! bandit58....

You are so right about RJ, & the work he does for the industry.(all in the name of SAFETY)
I met him for the first time at M.A.T.S......he is a "Real Character" to talk to even off the record.

Answer:
The only thing wrong with [/b]RJ, is if he ain't careful he will be as old as I am.
For all of you Newbees, if the only worth while thing you do in trucking, is to meet RJ and follow just one of his safety tips you will be miles ahead.
RJ's favorite thing to do when he is home was go out in the back yard and scratch his (edited)..............Then one day he had to bury it. (guess I should have said donkey)
Thanks RJ for all you have done for the trucking industry.I will buy coffee at the TA or Petro

Answer:
Not only Old but slow . . .
Hi bandit58, Sorry it has taken so long for me to respond to your post.
Thanks for stopping by and talking with me and you’re very, very kind words, but I have to be honest, there are a lot of people in the background that make me look good.
bandit58, again Thank You.
Hi choclit snda . . . Nice photo.
It was great meting you at MATS and also Thanks for your kind words.
choclit snda, are you going to The Truck Show ( ) in Las Vegas this June 10 thru 12?
If you are please stop by the Ol’ Blue, USA “Safety Center” ( http://www.SafetyTour.org ). I boosted a hat for you from the show and again, Thank You.
Hi Russell, you said, “RJ's favorite thing to do when he is home was go out in the back yard and scratch his (edited)..............Then one day he had to bury it. (guess I should have said donkey)”
Macho ( http://www.olblueusa.org/macho.html ) was a great friend for 30 years and I truly miss him. I guess what I miss the most is when people would come up to me and ask “RJ how’s you’re a**”.
Russ, since you are not coming to Vegas next week.
I have set up our Web Cam at ( http://www.olblueusa.org/video/ ) so you will not miss anything.
This year in our “Safety Center” we will have Officer’s from the California Highway Patrol, Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement, Nevada Highway Patrol and CVSA to answer questions from drivers.
Russ, Thanks again for all your support.
Well ‘Ol’ Blue’ and I are off to Las Vegas this Sunday to start setting up for the show.
Anyone that stops by the Ol’ Blue, USA “Safety Center” at Booth #2534 and says “Macho” to RJ, I will give you a sponsor’s hat.
