My 12th week in truck driving school
Question:
Here is my 12th week of truck driving school, ending November 15, 2002 Monday: More map training Began math for the program: general areas of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and decimals with emphasis on learning to estimate using these skills, since this can be a big part of figuring weight, loads, etc. Watched a video on accieents--healthy reminder of how easiy death can come! Hooked up and ran doubles for the first time. Wow, that was pretty cool. Drove the circuit Tuesday: Wasn't in school. (Class did more math--subtraction--and logging) Wednesday: More math. Thursday: Math (okay, math is fine, but . . .!) Friday: Oh, not again . . . Ugh, more math (the next-to-the-last session). Easy day this was, though. I got all my math done before today, and I spent a lot of time just taking it easy. Short day. 5 weeks more to go! *********************************************** Look before, during, and after when making those right-hand turns!
