Just finish talking with Swift recruiter today in Las Vegas, I was impressed with two things that Swift has now, new trainee pay and if you attend the school in SLC and pay cash they will reimburse you the full amount in 6 months. Just starting out this looks like a good company to start with. Not sure if want to stay with them just to get some experience and get my tution back as soon as possible. Has anyone attend the 3 week school in SLC, what is there graduation or faillure rate? Any details on the course would be appreicated.

I think the Swift terminal in Salt Lake City is one of the better terminals. I did ask a driver that went through the school there and he said the people there were great.
I think something that contributes to the training is the students themselves. My class (non-Swift) was excellent. The class after me had some major problems, but they had a couple of troublesome students and that kinda screwed up the whole class.
Be sure to focus on learning. The first two people in my class that gave up trucking were also the two that spent most of their evenings at the strip joint and weekends partying.
