info on c.r. england
Question:
I am schedualed for orientation on the 4th of nov. and just wanted to get the inside scoop of the company and what it is like there. I worked for Bulington Motor Carriers and finished the training then got laid off because company went bankrupt. Now I am trying again and hope that I got with a good company. If anyone works for cre and would like to share info I'll be waited for replies. Thanx Answer: The good news is that England won't be going bankrupt any time soon. The bad news is that you might if you sign up for their lease program. Much has been said about England on this board; virtually none of it good. Use the "Search" function and you shall be rewarded with a wealth of info. Answer: 10 posts below this one is a CRE post by 4speed CRE = C.R.England zigzag Answer: I drove for England a little over 4 years ago. It was bad then and it's probably worse now. They'll do anything in their power to rip you off and screw you over. Low pay, grocery warehouses, nasty hand unloads, mystery deductions from your paycheck, rude and obnoxious dispatchers...the list just goes on and on. The funniest thing is this guy at orientation who is supposedly some ex-CIA agent or something. He is said to be able to find out every bad thing you did since you were a kid. And don't let those shiny red trucks fool you because most of the equipment is trashed and England won't spend the money to fix it (unless it's the reefer unit). The whole operation is a complete joke. http://www.subway.com Answer: I've heard a lot of info about C.R. England... but none of it has been good. Just a question, why would you schedule yourself for orientation before knowing all you can about the company? Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission. www.livejournal.com/users/trucking_life Answer: TL Good ? ( QUESTION THAT YOU POSTED ) You see alot of that on here , make the decision then ask the questions. Wonder what kind of Car or even Wife these guys would end up with if they made that decision in the same manner. "Editted so TL can see I used the ? in place of the (word ) question" [This message was edited by RoadHugger on October 20, 2002 at 16:53.] Answer: Originally posted by RoadHugger: TL Good ? You see alot of that on here , make the decision then ask the questions. I said I heard none of it was good. So don't get all bent out of shape. If a person wants to work for a company they know nothing about, so be it. They will just find out the hard way. What's good for one, might be bad for another or vice versa. Why would you make a decision before asking questions? I'm sorry, but that's the stupidest thing I have heard lately. Do you lack common sense? So you are saying you would sign on and schedule for orientation with a company you didn't have a clue about? To think, people wonder why the industry is losing more and more drivers every year. Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission. www.livejournal.com/users/trucking_life Answer: Double post. [This message was edited by trucking life on October 20, 2002 at 17:53.] Answer: I have looked into some of this company before I made a decision but not here. Maybe I got the wrong sorces but I am used to getting screw over and feel that it doesn't matter as long as I have a job. Maybe I'll like it and maybe I won't I'll just have to see. right? Answer: TL Who the HE** is bent out os SHAPE read my DARN REPLY. I said you "POSTED A GOOD QUESTION " on why he decided on ORIENTATION then started asking about the company. Answer: I knew of a man and wife team that drove for CRE as company team drivers CRE wanted them to become a Lease Team they just laughed at CRE said no thanks decided to quit and go to Prime as a lease team and love it.So go be suckered by CRE and hope you love to drive that pretty red truck. Point is you can do better than CRE as a driver for another company if you think you can't go take the plunge Nuff said Answer: Not need to be smart in editing your post. Usually when people use a "?" after a word it's punctuation, not some clever way of saying the word "question". Either way I apologize for the way I responded. You can't blame misreading it on me. I just thought that's how you meant it. If you blame anything, blame your sentence structure. Nobody can make you feel inferior without your permission. www.livejournal.com/users/trucking_life Answer: If your(and your wife's) ONLY(main) Requirement for choosing a carrier is the Pretty Red Trks..... Then you all are going to be in for some Very Rude, Crude Awakenings. ------------------------------------------------------------- CFI, is an Excellent carrier.(Beautiful, well maintained RED trks...although, I'm Not sure if they are currently accepting students or not, but it'd be worth calling to find out.) Roehl,(pronounced: rail) is an Excellent carrier.(They DO Accept Students/Newbies & they Do Have Pretty RED trks.) Crete, is an Excellent carrier.(They also have RED trks.) US Express, is a good carrier.( They DO Accept Students/Newbies & they also have pretty RED trks.) Averitt Express, has RED trks.(although, I'm Not sure if they accept students/newbies) Ozark, have RED/white trks. Trans Am, has many different colors to Choose from. ( yes....RED is one of the colors.) Fleet First, has RED trks. Proline, has both RED trks as well as BLUE trks. You should Read & HEED the WARNINGS in those posts. Answer: TL Not being SMART just wanted people to know why it was editted and I am sorry for using the ? should have spelt the word in the 1st place, was on MSN MESSENGER with my sister in law at the time , she uses the ? when she was asking something I just clicked on it out of habit as I had just used it with her. Anyhow no harm done in either direction , have a safe week. Im just getting ready to head to Dallas. Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
