Its my understanind to stay clear of any lease deal. i dont pay my way to work. But or drive company. I never understood leasing a job. I may lease a home vechile but not a big rig. Sorry not for me

Boy was I wrong and I want everyone to hear about it......Yes it was good for sometime.....Suddenly last winter the miles came to a halt (well very close to a hault). When I complained that I needed to keep moving it fell on deaf ears. While I did manage to keep up my payments & etc I had NOTHING to pay the bills at home-not even enough to buy the groceries. I begged & pleaded for 2 months for some miles. They also started to force me to deadhead (at my own expense of course) unimagionalbe miles home for hometime-onetime they deadheaded me over 700 miles & then refusing to deadhead me anymore than 150 miles at thier expense to pickup a load after my hometime(which because of the area I live in would cause me to sit for several days waiting for a load out). Finially, in frustration I wrote to an online truckers lawyer site for advice on what to do in this situation. Unknown to me Melton Trucking regularly scans these sights & recognised my name & proceded to fire me for the posting. Even though on the posting I said nothing more than I had told them myself-very similar to what I am stating here today. When I was let go they promised me that they would not charge me the $100 per month rent for the remainder of the lease. Well I got my check today. Of course it was not a check it was a statement saying that I was getting nothing from them due to the fact that they had to deduct close to $3000 for penalties for not finishing the trac lease. Of course I called them right away & asked why they charged me when they said they would not. Their answere was that they had not cleared that through the proper channels when they made that promise to me. So I was being charged. They charged me for unreal things for maintenance after turning in the truck. Example: 1hr labor for looking for the extra set of maintenance keys for the truck even though those keys were turned into the office when I left. It even said on the settlement the keys were found in the office. I feel really bad for ever stating that I thought they have a good program. I do stand by the fact that I think they did have a good program at one time-but they have since joined the ranks of all the other crappy lease purchase programs out there!!
