Sorry about not updating. But I quit. I was looking to get married. and move my new wife from VA to KY. Millis was not going to give me enough time to get married and move across country. Dispatcher told me he doesnt care if I was out for two years straight without going home. The most time I would get off would be 4 days. This obviously was not enough time so I quit. I always delivered loads on time, no tickets or accidents, no arguments or backtalk over the qualcomm, no turning down loads. I needed a few more days off so I can move my wife and 3 kids and they didnt give it to me. I felt I gave them my life, and when I needed a favor they couldn't look out for me. I did go over dispatchers head and was approved for a week, but I was so pissed it was too late. I decided to quit rather than take the week. Right now I work for Pepsi-cola. This is the worst job in my life so I am quitting this and looking to get back on the road. Regional work. That is why I am on this web site. I took my website down, since I was not updating it anymore. I glad it helped out some people.

Why didn't you plan all this for your vacation time? I could be mistaken but I though at Millis you earned one weeks vacation for every six months.
Only two things I know of are infinite. The universe and human stupidity, and I am not real sure about the universe.

at Millis, if you select the per diem pay plan, which I didnt, You earn a week of vacation after your first six months. Besides at time of employment, I didnt know I was getting married, but did know I was moving.
