Schneider (SNI) is, I believe, the third largest trucking company in the US behind Swift and JB Hunt. Their huge freight base will allow you to keep moving. Schneider is a very safety aware company. There facilities at the terminals (what SNI calls an OC) are better than most truckstops.
.
You get a fuel card which you can use to fuel up as much as you want at an OC(terminal) or one of their authorized fuel stops(mostly T/A's). Swift drivers are required to fuel up at terminals and the amount of fuel can be limited to just enough to get you to the next terminal. If a Swift driver has to run unpaid out of route miles to get to the next terminal for fuel, that is just to bad.
.
Schneider issues you a credit card/pass for the PA turnpike. They also have EZ pass for the NY toll roads and I believe NJ toll roads. They do not allow use of the Ohio turnpike without specific pre-approval. Not a serious problem if you trip plan efficiently. I used interstate 76 and US 30 to and from Mansfield Ohio to get to/from Chicago.
.
While I no longer drive for Schneider, I recommend their training program without hesitation. Schneider training like Roehl and Millis Transfer are pretty well regarded among other carriers. A JB Hunt recruiter actually suggested it to me.
.
Schneider, like a lot of other companies, has a lot of rules that concern safety. Most are common sense. As with any company, your dispatcher(what SNI calls an STL) can make or break you. Schneider trucks are powered by Detroit series 60 engines and 10 speed transmissions and are governed at 63mph. Trucks are equiped with A/C and AM/FM/cassette radio. Supply your own CB radio.

Answer:

It may not be a "serious problem" but it's certainly a waste of driving time. This is just another example of a company saving money (tolls) by passing the cost (driving time) on to the driver.
