CDL A, B
Question:
If you have a CDL "A" license, can you qualify for a job that requires a CDL "B" license? thanks Answer: If you have a Class A license you can drive anything that is considered a class b truck. Coolbreeze Answer: To drive a bus, you'll need a passenger endorsement.-Arthur Spooner Answer: I have a sensitive back. What's the best type of vehicle to drive? It's my understanding that there's little to no lifting with drop & hook jobs. That there are always lumpers available if needed? Answer: I'm just "sensative".Whats the best kind of job for me to have? The Governor. Answer: Well with a bad back it is hard to say what would be good for you. Drop & Hook has it disadvantages, as you have to pull the fifth wheel latch whe you unhook the trailer. There are times this can become a pain. Hualing gas requires you to lift hoses on an off. I guess it is up to you to decide, only you know what your back can handler. Coolbreeze Answer: I will be driving for a tour company this summer. They trained me and I know have a Class B with air brake endorsment. I am planning on moving to the L.A. area in October and attened a trucking school or company training program. Some of the programs I have checked into require you to get a CDL permit, i.e. Schneider, before starting training. If I have my Class B do I still need to get a permit? Answer: Even with no touch, the bouncing around in teh cab is enough to wreck even good backs. I used to have a good back years ago when I started this crap, now 8 yearslater, I am in constant pain, and most of my trucking has been no touch. Answer: Funny thing about my back! It feels fine while on the road, but when I get home and settle in the big dad chair, it takes me about eight steps to be able to walk normal again. Same thing getting out of bed in the morning! Answer: "A" makes "B" and even with "C" Drive 'em all as often as you like. Class:A is the TOP DOG! Answer: Unless you can't get the A, I would always get the most you could. No sense in having to take the WHOLE test over again to upgrade from B to A. Just like adding air brake endorsement. If you don't have it, it'a another WHOLE test again to add it. It's not just a written test. Yes it is another written test, but it also adds to pretrip(air test) so you have to take the whole test over again, start to finish. Answer: Are you in Anchorage?-Arthur Spooner Answer: Bada-boom, bada-bing Yes I am in Anchorage will be working for Princess Tours this summer then leaving this great state of Alaska Answer: I'm a trainer for them. I'll probably see you Saturday. Ask for Tony.-Arthur Spooner Answer: Will do Tony looking forward to working with y'all this summer. My name is Tim so will hopfully see you soon.and forget to START again? Copyright ? 2006 - 2007 www.thankhealth.com Privacy Policy
