Tanker
Question:
What kind of license is needed to drive a tanker? The not so big ones, like the ones that make oil deliveries to homes. Is that a CDL "A" or "B"? I know they need a hazmat endorsement.
thanks

Answer:
there is a tanker endorsement inside a dog it's too dark to read"

Answer:
Im not positive on this as Im not a tanker yanker so to speak, but if its a straight truck, its a B Class license along with a tanker endorsement and if your hauling hazmat, your gonna need that one as well.

Answer:
Correct. If it is a straight truck a class B will do as long as you have the tank endorsment and hazmat endorsment if your going to be hualing petroleum products. I drove a tractor an tank an found it a very interesting job. It seemed that petroluem drivers are really friendly an will try to help you out if you need it. I guess that is because of what your hualing, one mistake an it could be your last.

Answer:
That is a hazmat tanker endorsement. It will be a CDL B. You will also want to take the air brakes portion of the CDL test also, because most likely you will have air brakes....and without passing that you can't legally operate the vehicle.
