Stupid But Important Question About Equipment Abbreviations
Question:
Hubby brokers his loads through Mercer, (most of the time) and he pulls a 45' flatbed. He has me look through the website for available loads and under "Required Equipment" are some abbreviations that neither of us know. He thinks he knows what they mean, but wants to be sure before picking a load and discovering he needs something other than a flatbed. I was wondering if anyone here knows what the following abbreviations mean:
F
FD
F/D
FS
F SD
FT
F48

Answer:
F normally means flatbed
FD used quite often to indicate dropdeck required
S generally indicates sides required
T tarps required
