Question:
Bandit called me on Thursday asking me if I was out west. I was. We made tentative plans to hook up for dinner or coffee somewheres in Wyoming.
I took a little longer to get motivated and on the road yesterday morning, so I called Bandit and we set different plans.
I caught up with him in Grand Island NE last night. We had dinner and about 4 hours of GOOD conversation. We talked about trucking, the 'old school' (we went to the same H.S.), and our home town.
We even managed to 'tour' the Chrome Shop. Although, Bandit wasn't able to stop me from buying some nice shiney 'toys' for my truck.
It was good to see you again Rick.
I'll catch up to ya again soon.

Still looking for you out here Whiskey! Saw a gal at the 'hook in OK City when I left out last time driving for WSE, didn't have your truck # handy at the time but asked if she was you. She gave me this look like I was trying to pick her up! "Hey are you Sweet Whiskey?" Yeah, I can see where she would get that idea!
Just got in this afternoon, 16 days out, got to see Oregon again. It really reminded me of the post you got blasted on awhile back. Talking about the scenery and all, remember? I saw Bald Eagles, Elk, Antelope, one Moose, and too many deer to count!
Yep, Hoss took me through the chrome shop! He wouldn't let me buy any chrome nekkid' sitting ladies to put on my truck though!
But he sure knows how to get a good deal on his purchases!! Right Hoss?!
The talk was good, Hoss has alot of info to share if you are willing to listen, and I had a few questions thanks bud!!
I80 from Grand Island to Des Moines looked like a tornado had gone through, what with all the vehicles in the median and ditch! Seems the storms were either ahead or behind me the entire time. Just 'friggin cold in Minnesota the week I left!!
